Thomas Lee Olson Jr.

Thomas Lee Olson Jr., "Tom", age 65, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2024, in Boise, ID. He was born on May 6, 1959, in Warren, PA to Thomas Lee Olson Sr. and Carol Elaine Olson.

Tom attended Elementary School in Ringwood, NJ, Junior High and High School, in Seaside, OR.    
He was a Cub Scout and a Boy Scout.  He worked as an equipment operator in his family’s logging business and went on to have a successful career as a heavy equipment operator.  His last occupation was as a long-haul truck driver. 

Tom found joy in the outdoors, hunting large game and was a member of a Bass Club, competing in tournaments where he did very well.  One of his favorite fishing locations was Hells Canyon.  He loved jokes and pulling tricks on others - anything to get a laugh!

He is survived by his mother, Carol E. Olson; his ex-wife; Linda R. Olson; his brothers, Robert and John Olson; his stepchildren, Brad and David Holt; and his grandchildren, Delphina, Anastasia, Carston, Clara and Cayden Holt; along with many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lee Olson Sr. and will be missed by all who knew him.

No services are planned, at Tom’s request, but a memorial stone will be placed in the Memorial Walkway at the Emmett Cemetery. 

Rest in peace Tom, now you can fish in the waters of Heaven.  Your memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved you.
