Teresa Marie Cooper

Teresa Marie Cooper March 23, 1953 – July 9, 2025

Teresa Marie Cooper, born in Emmett, Idaho on March 23, 1953, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on July 9, 2025, in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho.

She is lovingly survived by her spouse of 54 years, Monte Cooper; children, Vanity (Scott) Christensen, Dean (Christy) Cooper, Shauna (Dave)Trent and Mark Cooper; her three grandchildren, Sebastian (Katelyn) Christensen, Matt (Tiana) Christensen, and Katie Cooper; her three great-grandchildren, Lilly, Harlow, and Cohen—with one more expected in December; siblings, Frank Ranft, Kate (Dennis) Drake, Bill Ranft, Nancy Moreno, and Robie (Jodi) Ranft;  brother-in-law, Rick Ellis; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Ranft Sr. and Juanita Swan; sister, Juanita Ellis; sister-in-law, Kelly Ranft; and her aunt, Judy Nilson

Teresa dedicated over 25 years of service to the Horseshoe Bend Public Library, where she was a beloved member of the community.

More than anything, Teresa cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th at 10:00 A.M. at Pioneer Cemetery in Horseshoe Bend, followed by a gathering at The Legion Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Horseshoe Bend Public Library in Teresa’s memory.

Arrangements are in the care of the Potter Funeral Chapel.
