Tamara Lynn Dunlap, 68, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, in Emmett, Idaho. Born on August 12, 1957, in Toppenish, Washington, Tamara was the daughter of the late Duane Carl and Beverly Ann Burkhart.
Tamara was a woman defined by her humor, strength, and a kindness that touched everyone she met. She spent the majority of her life in the Central Valley of California before eventually settling in Caldwell, Idaho. Tamara created a home filled with the things she loved: the vibrant colors of her garden, the gentle song of wind-chimes, and constant laughter. Above all else, she valued her family and the simple joy of being together.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Beverly Burkhart, and her sister, Kimberly Burkhart.
Tamara’s legacy of love lives on through her devoted husband, Rick Dunlap; her children, Michael (Neely) Dunlap and Andrew Curry; her step-daughter, Amber; and her cherished niece, Ashley Burkhart. She is also survived by her brother, Michael (Sandy) Burkhart; her sister-in-law, Connie (Rick) Mattos; and a wide community of friends who will miss her dearly.
