Sharon Walker Obituary

Sharon Lynn Walker passed in her home on January 14, 2022, at 6:18PM with her loving family around her. She is survived by her husband Jerry Walker (39 years together), her children Richard Hewitt, Robyn Burgess, Bradley Hewitt, Michelle Miller, Trent Walker, her siblings Pamela Snyder, Larry Weaver, her precious grandchildren, and sweet great grandchildren.
Lynn was born on September 10, 1941 in Grants Pass, Oregon, and was often called Walker the Talker because of her outgoing personality and love for people. She was adored by the children she met while she was teaching Sunday School and Youth group at church.
She and Jerry moved to Emmett, Idaho in 2004 with her daughter Robyn and family to be closer to her 2 boys. Her sister Pam and her husband Larry soon followed. Her love for teaching made Emmett the perfect place to become an amazing substitute teacher. Art and painting were her passion which is why her, and her daughter spent their days painting together, and later shared that love by teaching art classes. The talent that she had was the talk of the Town and her beloved paintings are cherished by those all around.
Being the God-fearing Christian woman, she adored her church family and friends. Her tender heart and kindred spirit was her God given gift to serve others through the Lord and teach His ways.
She met and married Jerry the love of her life and best friend forever in 1982. His children were loved as her own. Together her and her sweetheart, while he worked as a Rouge River Ranger for the Depart of the Interior, had many adventures on the river, and enjoyed their life together to the fullest.
Lynn was the best wife and Jerry and her shared an eternal love that lives on.
Her children were the joy of her life, and being the best mother was one of her greatest accomplishments of all. She raised her little sister Pammy as well and was like a mother to her.
She will be greatly missed by all she touched, because she was truly our Angel here on Earth.
