Robert "Bob" L. Williams

  Robert “Bob” Lorenzo Williams passed away Friday, August 11, 2023, at his home in Emmett, Idaho.  He was born to Ruby (Harris) and Talmadge Williams on February 22, 1943, in Jacksonville, Florida. In 1960, he joined the Navy, serving on the Bon Homme Richard aircraft carrier. In 1963 he married Ann Ashlock and had two sons, Chuck and Tony. The family settled in Kingsburg, California.  Bob worked for Jaynes & Company, eventually beginning his own portable welding business, B & A Enterprises. In 1993, Bob married Fonda Yarbery Morales of Porterville, California and the couple settled in Emmett, Idaho. Bob worked at Utility Trailer in Boise until his retirement in 2008.

 Bob was an avid hunter who loved spending time with his sons deer and duck hunting.  He will be remembered for his love of the mountains.

 Bob is proceeded in death by his parents; stepfather, Ed Nicholson, and brothers, Cecil, Wade, and Jerry. He is survived by his wife, Fonda Williams; a sister, Wanda Lord of North Carolina; his two sons and their families; two stepsons, David and Darin Morales, and seven grandchildren. The family extends their appreciation to Fonda and her commitment to Bob’s care.

 Per Bob’s request, there will be no services.  Arrangements were cared for by the Potter Funeral Chapel of Emmett, Idaho.
