Robert "Bob" Debowey

  Bob Debowey passed away on April 17,2025 at age 88. He was born in North Dakota in 1936.   Bob was working in the North Dakota oil fields when he decided he wanted a better life.   He enlisted in the Army for a few years. He graduated from the University of Nebraska, a five-year Electrical Engineering program, in 2-1/2 years.  He had an IQ of 165.  
 Bob love to fish and hunt. He bought land in Emmett, Idaho in is forties and stopped working so he could hunt and fish more.  
   He used to can peaches and bring them down to Phoenix where his Grandson Nathan loved to eat them. 
   Robert Debowey is survived by son, Brian Debowey; daughter, Sheryl Hawkins (Debowey); and grandchildren, Nathan Hawkins & Rachel Hawkins.

   A funeral service with military honors will be held at the Idaho State Veteran's Cemetery at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
