Rickey Lynn Overfield

 Rickey Lynn Overfield Sr., of Garden Valley, Idaho, passed away on October 9th, 2023 after struggling many years with severe respiratory issues.  “Rick” was the 14th of 15 children born to his parents Bill and Ruby Overfield and their youngest son.  He was a very talented craftsman, horseman, builder, hunting guide, and so much more.  His ability to drive on the other hand, was questionable, at best. He loved to dance, whistle, sing and being right.  

 Rick was very proud of all 6 of his children and loved them very much. He is survived by his children. Lisa Huey of Garden Valley, ID from his first marriage to Debbie Williams.  Rickey Overfield Jr. “Bubba” of Emmett, Id and Wendy Overfield of Garden Valley, ID from his second marriage to Connie Taylor.  Rick also gained three more children with his union to Connie, Katy Allen of Emmett ID, Marcy Dudder of Benson, AZ and Kristy Ahumada of Tucson, AZ. 

 Rick was very proud to be a grandpa and had the blessing of having several. In order to their parents, they include, Olivia and Alexis, children of Lisa.  Taylor, Savannah, Emma, Avery, and Ivy children of Bubba.  Dakota, Montana, and Baylee children of Katy.  Eric, Michael, and Chris children of Marcy.  Samantha and Anthony children of Kristy. He also had 5 great grandchildren, Scarlett (Samantha), Leonidas (Eric), Aiden and Barry (Dakota), Remington (Baylee).
  
 Of his siblings he is preceded in death by: Bobby Eugene (Marcella) Overfield of Powell, Wyoming; Ethel Jane (Oles) Higgs of Holland, MI.; Norma Sue (Jimmy) Greer of Jackson, TN.; Donna Ruth (Jimmy) London of Grubbs, AR. 

 Survivors include: Charles Edward (Nancy) Overfield of Davidson, MI.; Gracie Leigh Brown of Osceola, AR.; JoAnn (James) Priest of Cash, AR.; Patsy Morgan of Jonesboro, AR.; Donald Lloyd (Sharon) of Afton, WY; William David (Rita) Overfield of Cody, WY; Glenda Gay (William) Browder of Manassas, VA.; Gloria June Lloyd of Grubbs, AR.; Roger Neil (Carolyn) Overfield of Balch, AR. and Sherry Paulette (Joe) Trotter of Weiner, AR. Left behind are many, many nieces and nephews, great niece's and nephew's and many more extended relatives and friends.

 There will be a celebration of life potluck for Rick held at Terrace Lakes Resort, 101 Holiday Drive, Garden Valley, ID on Saturday, October 21st at 2:00 p.m. in the pavilion.
