Richard R. Stradley, 74, went home to the Lord on December 9th, 2024 at his home surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer, which he faced with strength and grace.
Richard was born in Caldwell, Idaho to Richard and Margie June Stradley.
Upon his high school graduation, Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. While in the Marine Corps, he served during the Vietnam War from 1973-1979 as a USMC SSGT. He received The National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal, Rifle Badge Expert (2nd Award), Pistol Badge Sharpshooter, Medal of Good Conduct (3rd Award), and the Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation.
Richard went on to become a Certified Property Manager with 20 years of experience in Idaho, Washington and California.
Richard was a dedicated and hardworking individual. He had a giving spirit and always put the needs of others ahead of his own.
Richard is survived by his loving family, including his wife, Luanne Stradley; his children, Travis (Gabriela)Stradley, Jeremy (Marcy) Stradley, Shaun Stradley, Amanda (Zach) King, Natasha Henslee, Donnie (Tiffany) Stradley and 15 cherished grandchildren, Travis Jr., Alexis, Julianna, Austin, Christian, Kaden, Daina, Hope, Grace, Kaylee, Drake, Piper, Declin, Matthias, and Paige; Nine great-grandchildren; sister, Linda(Stan) Peterson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Margie June Stradley; Brother Stan Stradley.
