Ramiro Alvizo Obituary

Our beloved son and brother, Ramiro Alvizo, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Emmett, Idaho on February 22, 2025 at the age of 25. Ramiro was born in Ontario, Oregon on December 31, 1999 to Jose Alvizo and Adela Martinez and was the third of five children. He was a sharp-witted and determined individual who graduated from Emmett High School in 2018.

Starting at the age of 4 and throughout most of his childhood, he enjoyed playing soccer through the GCRD, high school, and with the Boise Nationals Soccer Club where he made many friendships and showcased his talent in the sport. Shortly after high school, he began his career journey working for Randall Pool Company where he grew a passion for entrepreneurship and had many goals of building success in all parts of his life.

People who knew Ramiro knew he was very talented, extremely hardworking, and at times, a force to be reckoned with. He had a love for duck hunting, fishing, wakeboarding, hiking, fitness, his mom’s home-cooked meals, and his dog Ruger. He enjoyed music from Morgan Wallen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tyler Childers, and Nirvana.

Ramiro cared deeply for the people closest to him and only ever wanted the best for them. He often wanted to incite motivation and encourage a resilient mindset to help others reach their full potential. If you were lucky enough, you got to see his fun-loving, goofy side. He was the most social out of his family members, was respectful when meeting others, and was especially fond of and protective over his little brother.

Ramiro is survived by his parents, Jose and Adela; and his siblings, Gabriela, Andres, Andrea, and Eracleo.  On February 27, 2025, services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 211 E. 1st St. Emmett, Idaho with a viewing at 11:00 AM, the Rosary at 11:30 AM and the Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 PM.   Burial will follow at the Emmett Cemetery.

---
