Peggy Yvonne Waters

 Peggy Yvonne Waters, born on October 15, 1930, in Gilbert, Arizona, passed away on May 8, 2023. A woman of deep faith, Peggy maintained her belief in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life, even though she had not been an active member since 1977. As the scriptures say in 1 Nephi 3:7, "I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them." Peggy truly embodied this verse, guided by her empathy, love, and spiritual connection with her faith.
  Peggy was an empathetic, loving, spirited, and talented homemaker who was dedicated to her family and those around her. She spent her life in various places, including Colorado and Nevada, before settling down in Emmett, Idaho. Peggy had an unwavering love for her family, which was the most important aspect of her life. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and creating beautiful pieces for her loved ones. Peggy's spirited nature meant that she could display a wide range of emotions, but at the end of the day, her loved ones always knew how much she cared for them.
  Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Burke Glover; her mother, Veda Glover; and her spouse, Jerome Waters; youngest son, Steve. She is survived by her son, Jerome Waters II; 2 grandchildren, Chad and Carrie as well as 4 great grandchildren.
  A memorial service and urn burial for Peggy Waters will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, at 3:00 pm MDT at Emmett Cemetery, located at 1205 North Washington Avenue, Emmett, Idaho, 83617.
