Patricia M. Hebberd- Crockett- Bowling passed away June 4, 2024, in Eagle, ID. She was born December 13, 1930, in Spokane, WA, to Margaret and Guy Hebberd.
She graduated in 1948 from Lewis & Clark High School. She attended the U of I 1948- 1951 and was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.
She married Jim Crockett, and they had 3 children. They later divorced. She married Ron Bowling in 1966 where they began their life together with her 3 children and Ron's 4 boys in McCall, ID. She worked at McCall Memorial Hospital for 13 years. The last 4 years as Business Office manager. She retired from there to seek further possibilities. They spent the winter of 1979- 1980 in Yuma, AZ. She worked at Yuma Regional Medical Center as a Radiology transcriber.
Upon returning to McCall, for the next 4 years, she was a bookkeeper for Dr. Munch Custler and Alberta & Duane Smith. In 1984 they returned to Yuma where they lived for the next 24 years. During that time, she worked for a dental office for 9 years, retiring in 1993.
She loved swimming, biking, water aerobics and gardening. After retiring she was a volunteer/mentor for 5 years in the Title I hosts program. They spent weekends in the Laguna Mountains in the motorhome. While in Yuma they travelled all over Northern Arizona and she also loved the beaches in Mexico. They moved back to Idaho in 2004 to be closer to their children and settled in Emmett, ID. She was a member of Walter Knox Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, all who knew her will remember her laugh.
After Ron's passing in 2018, Mom moved into Edgewood Eagle Island Assisted Living where she enjoyed crafting and meeting new friends right up until her passing. She was loved by all.
She is survived by all of her children except Rick who passed away in 2023. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 8 great, great grandchildren.
