On an island…
A girl child romps in the grass, hugs her lamb and off together chasing butterflies.

On an Island…
A young girl learning to drive a tractor, waves and grins at her father…and gently crashes into the cinder block house.

On an island…
A teen girl learns to milk cows, mow hay, and care for 5 younger siblings.

On an island…
An older teen experiences the loss of a brother, of grief, and now caring for only 4 siblings.

On an Island…
A late teen learns to love as she starts a new adventure-of being a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother, and an aunt, of grief, happiness, joy and love.

On an island…
The river rushes by singing a song of welcome and the girl child is at rest.
