Pam Mikolyski Obituary

Pam Mikolyski, 73, went home to be with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior, on November 16, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 22, 1949, in New Brunswick, Canada, to John and Dorothy (Dot) Mehan.

Pam grew up on the East Coast in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, with her three brothers and two sisters. She attended Portsmouth High School and graduated in 1968. In August of that same year, Pam married Ted and moved to Southern California. They were married for 54 years and had two sons and two daughters. Pam was the grandmother of eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. It gave her great joy to attend her grandkids' activities, games and recitals. Pam was the most incredible wife, mom and grandma anyone could ask for. God blessed our family with Pam; she was unmatched in compassion, love, courage and strength. She was the most fierce mama bear when it came to protecting her loved ones, but was also as gentle as a lamb when caring for and nurturing her kids. She loved the ocean, camping and anything else that involved family. Pam and Ted also cared for over 100 foster kids. She treated these kids like her own, like a mom should. Some of them even kept in contact with her through the years. Later, Pam decided to train to become a CNA and used her God-given gifts to care for the elderly.

Pam was baptized and born again into the family of God in 1987 and devoted the rest of her life to serving and loving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Pam always trusted in Christ, and her faith grew as she and her family pushed through the ups and downs of life. Many people were drawn into a relationship with God from watching her walk with Jesus. She always gave God the glory for everything, in the good times as well as in the hard times. Pam and Ted moved to Emmett, Idaho, in 2018. She called Emmett her little "Mayberry." She enjoyed hunting for treasures at local garage sales. She would find all kinds of yard art that she loved to decorate her yard with for everyone to see. We also can't forget about grandma's pet dwarf goats, Bella, Thea and Billy. And she loved tending to her little flock of chickens. She enjoyed taking care of her animals, garden and plants.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy (Dot) Kierstead and David Kierstead, and several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her husband, Ted Mikolyski; her children, Nicole (Jerry) LeBlanc, Todd (Jen) Mikolyski, Troy (Lisa) Mikolyski, and Colette (Mike) Hibdon; her grandchildren, Tyler (Carrie), Toby, Timmy, Mia, Haven, Madison, Mckenna, and Trenner; her great-grandchildren, Jaden and Lauren (Lolo); her siblings, Linda, Charlie, David, Danny, and Terry; uncles and aunts, nephews and nieces, and her pets.
