Nolan Ray Williams, age 83, of Emmett, Idaho, passed away on August 21, 2025. He was born on February 2, 1942, in Seward, Oklahoma.
A lifelong truck driver, Nolan took pride in the miles he logged and the roads he traveled. He had a strong love for the outdoors and could often be found hunting, camping, or fishing—usually with a good story and a playful grin. Known for his ornery spirit and constant teasing, Nolan had a way of making people laugh and feel at ease. He never missed a chance to joke around and was always ready with a quick-witted comment.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deanna Williams, and his sons, Grant Williams and Paul Williams. He is survived by his children: Nolan Ray Williams Jr., Jeffery Williams, Emily Payne, and Tara Johnson. He also leaves behind a proud legacy in his grandchildren: Sarah, Shelby, Megan, Ashley, Rachel, Cody, Danielle, Brayden, Madison, Charmaine, and Jennifer.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to spend some time outdoors, crack a joke, or share a story in Nolan’s memory—just the way he would’ve wanted.
