Neva Pearl Gifford finally went home to be with her momma in the early morning of July 12, 2022. She was born February 12, 1937, to Edward Gifford and Edna Mae Gifford in Emmett, Idaho. Due to an accident at birth, Neva would spend her 85 years with cerebral palsy. Neva and her family did all that they could to assure that Neva would have a full and happy life, which would include two marriages.
Neva was known by many who cared for her in the skilled nursing facilities she spent the biggest part of her life in as a "giggler". Many mentioned her "giggle" with joy and fondness.
During Neva's residency at The Good Samaritan Society - Boise Village, she married Norman Potter. They were married for several years but were later divorced. Norman passed away a few years after their divorce. Neva met another resident of The Good Sam, Robert Quinn. They were subsequently married until Robert passed away in 2009. Neva remained at The Good Sam until it closed in May of 2021, at which time she moved into The Orchards of Cascadia in Nampa, Idaho, where she resided until her passing.
Neva was preceded in death by her brothers and their wives, William Gifford (Joyce) and Keith Gifford (Doris); her sisters Lois (Joseph) and Dolores; and her brothers-in-law Karl Kellar and Bill Campbell.
Neva is survived by her sisters Lorraine Campbell and Margie Kellar, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
