Nathan Stanley Obituary

Nathan "Nate" Carlisle Stanley, 60, of Garden Valley, Idaho, passed away unexpectedly on November 8th 2021 from a fatal car accident. Nate was born in Gresham, Oregon, 1961, to Myron "Stan" Stanley and Judith "Judy" Johnson. Nate was the oldest child and had two siblings, Rachel and Jason. Nate was born in Oregon but spent most of his life calling Garden Valley, Idaho home.

Nate was a "Jack of all Trades", but mostly worked in various degrees of construction throughout his life. From building highways to custom homes and everything in between, he did it all. His Favorite job though, was being a Husband, Father, and Papa. He lived for his family every day of his life. Nate met Kecia Hines in Garden Valley, Idaho, and they married in 1984. Together they have four children: Frank, Amie, Ashley and Jake.

In his spare time, Nate enjoyed riding his motorcycle, everything airplane, and shooting the breeze with his friends as well as spending time with his family. He gave the Best hugs and had a contagious happiness, smile, and laugh that followed him everywhere he went. He will be missed beyond words or measure by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Nate was preceded in death by his mother, Judy (Nov. 8th 2002). He is survived by his father, Myron Stanley; siblings, Rachel (Bob) Banks, Jason (Debbie) Stanley; wife, Kecia Stanley; four children, Frank (Sonia) Maxson, Amie (Mike) LaRue, Ashley (Bob) Dupree, Jake Stanley; six grandchildren, Riley Dupree (18), Raegyn Dupree (15), Caden LaRue (14), Kristy Maxson (12), Kase LaRue (9), and Jason Maxson (9).
