NICKI DEL (KELLER) JOHNS

 Nicki Del (Keller) Johns, 45, of Emmett passed away on Friday December 14, 2018 at home, surrounded by her loving family, after a long struggle with Huntington’s Disease.

 Nicki was born on April 19, 1973 to Delynn and Connie Keller, of Emmett, in a surprising home birth. Nicki grew up in Emmett with her four siblings, her sisters Tyann and Staci and her brothers Kevin and Codey. Growing up, she loved to play basketball and was active in track and cross-country. She won many awards in school and sports. Nicki graduated Emmett High School in 1991 and went on to attend Ricks College for one year.

 Nicki married Aaron K. Johns on December 3, 1994 at the Boise Idaho Temple. Following their marriage, they moved to Horseshoe Bend. A year later Aaron and Nicki moved back to Emmett. Together they raised three children, Garritt, Brittany, and Hunter. Nicki chose to be a stay at home mom and thoroughly enjoyed it. She loved to spend time with her family. Nicki especially enjoyed camping and being outdoors. She loved her family and always had a positive outlook on life and will be greatly missed by many. We know that we will be with her again. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, and mother. Thank you, mom, we love you and we will miss you.

 Nicki is survived by her husband Aaron Johns, her two sons Garritt Johns and Hunter Johns; her daughter Brittany Johns, her father Delynn Keller, her step-mother Faye Keller, her father-in-law Milton “Bud” (Sharla) Johns, her brothers Kevin (Diane) Keller and Codey Keller; and her sisters Tyann (Todd) Alder and Staci (Clark) Ratcliff. Nicki was preceded in death by her mother Connie Keller.

 There will be a viewing on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Potter Funeral Chapel from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Letha LDS Church. The viewing will be at 10:00 a.m. and the funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Bramwell Cemetery.
