Monica Loraine Briscoe

 Monica Loraine Briscoe was born on November 19, 1959 in Caldwell, Idaho to Clifford Lamar Price and Olive Loraine Brinkerhoff. She passed away at home in Emmett, with her family surrounding her on March 7, 2021. Ending her battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 61. 

 Monica graduated from Emmett High School in 1978 and then attended Rick’s College in Rexburg, Idaho for a semester. Upon returning from college, Monica and David Briscoe began dating and were then married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Dec 31, 1979. It was in the town of Emmett, Idaho that they began their family and raised eight children.

 Monica lived a life full of service and love towards others. Not only did she care for and support her 8 children, she also lovingly welcomed multiple foster children into her home and cared for them as if they were her own. Anyone who knew or met Monica, instantly felt of her love and generosity. She was constantly performing selfless service towards others and taking care of their needs before herself. 

 Monica was a very active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in multiple positions.

 She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Lamar Price, and her sister, Angela Silkwood. Monica is survived by her loving husband, David; and their children and spouses, Brian and Katrina Briscoe, Lane and Amber Cable, Adam and Hilary Briscoe, Steve and Daniele Morley, Jordan and Kaitlyn Briscoe, Rulon and Hope Briscoe, Logan Briscoe, and Lucas Briscoe; with 16 grandchildren.

 Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Emmett Stake Center in Emmett. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett. A viewing will also be held on Saturday from 9:30 am until 10:45 am at the Church. Burial will take place afterwards in the Emmett Cemetery.
