Michelle Stricker, born Michelle Anne Stricker on November 6, 1978, in Antioch, California, was a compassionate, funny, generous, and talented individual who was deeply loved by her family and friends. Michelle, affectionately known by her nearest and dearest as "Meow," spent 37 years of her life in San Marcos, California, where she worked as a Director of Events, Catering, and Member Services at The Bridges of Rancho Santa Fe before starting her own catering and event planning business. As the famous quote goes, "A life filled with love, must have some thorns. But a life empty of love, will have no roses." Michelle, a person who believed in the beauty of love, filled her life with roses.
Michelle's passion and dedication to her work were matched only by her incredible generosity and sense of humor. A lover of music, golf, and lounging by the pool, Michelle brought joy to everyone around her. She achieved her black belt in Tai Kwon Dovery early in life which showcased her determination and talent. When asked what mattered most to her, Michelle would say it was that everyone around her was happy. Her laughter and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her.
Michelle is survived by her fiancé, Robert Taylor; her father, Doug Stricker; and her cousin, Heather Willcox. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ricki Fay.
