Obituary

 Michelle Leann (Leggett) Nath, age 40, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 in her home in Emmett, Idaho. She was born in Katy, TX, on September 1, 1981, to Michael Dwight Leggett and Peggy Rose (Bertrand) Leggett.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Joshua, her children, Caitlynn Sperry (husband Andrew) of Meridian, Idaho, Jacalynn Nath of Moscow, Idaho, and Logan and Alexander Nath of Emmett, Idaho; her grandson, Silas Sperry; her Mother, Peggy Leggett of Cushing, Iowa; her siblings Joseph Nelson of Cushing, Iowa (children, Ryan and Savannah), Dwight Leggett of Colorado Springs, Colorado (wife, Melissa, and children, Zane, Gavin, Quinn, and Makenzie), Valery Fuhrman of Cleghorn, Iowa (husband Jon, and children, Carson and Carlynn), Melanie McCracken of Jonestown, Pennsylvania (husband, Michael, and children, Anthony and Emalee) and Jennifer Leggett Douglas of Olympia, Washington (husband, Randall, and their collective children, Aidan, Brinley, and Kamryn). She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.

Michelle grew up in Iowa, California, and Minnesota. She graduated from Luverne High School in 1998, Marshalltown University in 2000, and Southeast Technical Institute’s accounting program in Sioux Falls, SD in 2009.  Michelle spent her career working as a corporate accountant and was passionate about animal rescue. 

A small gathering of remembrance will be held Saturday, November 27th from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Potter Funeral Chapel, 228 E Main St, Emmett, ID, with a larger memorial in planning for Spring 2022.  In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be offered to the Idaho Saint Bernard Rescue of Boise, Idaho.
