Marty Lee Flower passed away at the age of 67, unexpectedly, at home on August 9, 2025.
Marty was born in Astoria, OR on June 12, 1958 to Betty (Joyce) and Duayne Flower. He moved with his family to Emmett, ID in 1969. Marty graduated from Emmett High School in 1975 and attended college to continue his education.
Marty married Kim Shult and later divorced in 1986. Together they have 3 children, Jacob, Garret, and Tyler Flower. Marty worked at various jobs including sales, marketing, construction, and eventually owned his own business as an independent painting contractor. Marty was a cancer survivor and loved living life to the fullest. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, classic cars, music, and spending time with his family and friends.
Marty is survived by his sons, Garrett Flower and Tyler Flower; sisters-in-law, Janis (Doug) Flowers, Renee (Jeff) Flower; granddaughters, Leilani and Ainslee Flower; grandson, Kade Flower; 2 nieces and 3 nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jacob Flower; mother, Betty Joyce Flower; father, Duayne Flower; brothers, Douglas Flowers and Jeffrey Flower; nephew, Cory Flower; maternal grandparents, Dora and Wayne Scott; and paternal grandparents, Violet and Lawrence Flower.
He touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed!
