Margaret Rae Nicolona

   Margaret “Rae” Nicolona passed away on Sunday evening, March 24, 2024, at the Life Care Center of Treasure Valley, Boise, ID.
   Rae was born October 6, 1943, in Emmett, ID, to Joseph and Margaret Foruria. She attended Emmett schools and married Delbert Johnson, the father of her two children, in 1959.  Rae resided in her home in Boise, ID, her whole life and raised her children, Rick and Lisa, in that home.  Rae’s life centered around her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 
   Rae was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Foruria; mother, Margaret Foruria; son, Rick Johnson; daughter, Lisa McClure; and sister, Irene Franklin.
   Rae is survived by her sister, Teresa (William) Burkhart; granddaughter, Nicole Bennett; great grandsons, Treznor Oltman, Jameson Wurshmidt, and Zakary Bennett; nieces, Pamela Stocks and Wendy Gano; nephews, Greg Burkhart and Chris Burkhart; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
   The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Life Care Center of Treasure Valley and to First Choice Hospice, with a very special thank you to Susan England.

   A Celebration of Rae’s Life will be held 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024, at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett, ID.
