Mardelle Elaine Davison, 74, died September 19, 2024, in Emmett, ID. Mardi was born in Emmett, ID, to Ralph and Rosemary Hutchinson on August 8, 1950, and was their youngest daughter. Mardi married Jerry Davison on Christmas Eve 1976.
Mardi spent many years in the Emmett Valley forging wonderful relationships with many people. She started her professional career as a Beautician and then worked for the State of Idaho for many years in the postal department. After retirement she went back to her first profession and styled hair at a few of the assisted living facilities in Emmett. She also had a barista outfit for a while in Emmett.
Mardi loved to collect dolls and cook. She won Queen of Kitchen multiple times at the Gem County Fair.
Mardi and Jerry traveled around a lot fulfilling a passion to see new sites, experience new things, and catching up with distant family.
Mardi was preceded in death by her folks, Ralph and Rosemary; and her three sisters, Larena, Rosemary, and Charlene.
Mardi was loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.
We would like to thank the Apple Valley assisted living staff for their special care of Mardi and for Hospice for their gentle help in her last days.
Private Services will be held. Arrangements are in the care of the Potter Funeral Chapel, Emmett, ID.
