Loren M. Ford

 Loren Marion Ford was born April 18, 1940 in Garibaldi, Oregon to James Fred Ford and Mary May (Heath); the seventh of 11 children and a twin.  Loren passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in Boise, Idaho.

 Loren was placed into active duty from the Army National Guard during the Berlin Crises for 11 months in Fort Lewis, Washington. He was a specialist, 4th Class in the 616 Battalion.

 Loren worked for Boise Cascade for 41 years in the plywood mill, he was an avid golfer, loved to bowl, hunt, fish and go camping with his family.  With three of his friends, Loren started the Black Canyon Bowman Club in Emmett, of which he was a lifetime member, shooting a recurve long bow.

 Loren is survived by his wife, Bonnie; son, Loren Jr. (Wendy) of Emmett; daughter, Veronica (Kelly) Fisher of Emmett; sons, Cory (Crystal) of Emmett and Kelly (Cindy) of Nampa; sisters, Wanda Nelson, Darlene Corr and Debbie Mills as well as 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in in death by his parents, brothers, Jim, Frank, Chuck and Danny and sisters, Leona, Lois, and Lorene.

 A viewing will be held Friday, October 23, 2020 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM with the funeral service to take place at 11:00 AM the following day, Saturday October 24, 2020 at the Potter Funeral Chapel.

 Loren will be missed by all who knew him as a father, uncle and friend
