Linda Riley, as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was born November 7, 1950 in Houston, Texas to Leonard and Patricia Stastny. Her journey on this earth came to a close on September 11th, 2025 in Meridian, Idaho, and was one marked with love, compassion and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends and many more whose lives were touched by her.
Linda was preceded in death by Ted Riley her husband, her parents and two brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Traci Joiner; stepson, Ted Jr. (Denise) Riley, and Tangie Riley (Shane Colton); grandchildren, Calvin (Kassidy) Asher, Adrianna (Kevin) Grimm, Kaelyn Weeks, Daniel Taylor, and Richard (Jessica) Riley; great grandchildren, Maryanne and Gracelyn Grimm, Jaxon and Parker Riley. Linda is also survived by her twin sister, Leona(Dave)Hodge; nieces, Wendi (Delton) Brinsfield and Danyale (Brian)Taylor.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at the Pioneer Cemetery in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho. Services are in the care of the Potter Funeral Chapel of Emmett.
A potluck will follow after service at the Ladies Club Hall in Horseshoe Bend, ID.
