Linda Marie Moss

Linda Marie Moss, 80, of Emmett, Idaho passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

Linda was born in Madera, California on January 23, 1946, to her parents Judy and Ray Loyd.  She was raised in Central Valley, California and attended high school in Chowchilla. She later graduated in Caruthers, California. On November 4, 1963, Linda married the love of her life, Joe Dale Moss, and together they shared 62 devoted years.

Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Judy Loyd; father, Ray Loyd and her brother, Earl Loyd.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Dale Moss; her sons Shawn (Trina) Moss and Shannon (Crystal) Moss; seven grandchildren; seventeen great‑grandchildren and four nieces.

Linda devoted her life to her family, her faith, and her ministry. She joyfully embraced her calling as a wife and mother, and she spent countless hours praying for the military, supporting her church community, and organizing prayer groups. She lived a life of service alongside her husband, always guided by her deep love for Jesus Christ.

She loved her cats and dogs, enjoyed working in her yard, appreciated fast cars, and carried a spirited, dare‑devil streak that made her unforgettable.

A Celebration of Linda's Life will be held at the New Life Celebration Church of God, Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 10:00 AM located at 1809 S Substation Rd Emmett, ID 83617.
