Lillian Barbara Hvezda

  Lillian Barbara Hvezda, 86, of Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, passed away on January 23, 2025.
  Born September 13, 1938, to Adolph and Clara (Gulbranson) Lundebrek, on the family farm in Langhei Township, Pope County, Minnesota.  She had 16 siblings of which she was the middle child.  
  She is survived by her husband of over 64 years, M. Jon Hvezda.  They were married on May 7, 1960, in Lake Hazel Lutheran Church of Pope County, Minnesota.  
  Lillian went to Benson High School in Benson, Minnesota.  After high school, she attended nursing school and graduated with an LPN degree. Lillian worked for 40 years as an LPN in Minnesota, Montana and Idaho.  
  Jon and Lillian had 4 children, Naomi (Darin) of Star, Idaho; Greg of Meridian, Idaho; Wanda (Jim) of Pullman, Washington; and Linda (Jeff) of Eugene, Oregon. 
  She is also survived by 5 brother, 4 sisters, 2 brothers-in-law, 7 sisters-in-law 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
  Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, 1 child lost as a still birth, 2 brothers, 6 sisters-in-law, 10 brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.  
 Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 7, 2025 at the Potter Funeral Chapel of Emmett.  Viewing will be the hour prior starting at 2:00 PM.
   Inurnment to be at a later date in Lake Mary Cemetery of Alexandria, Minnesota. 

Charitable Contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in her honor.
