Lavina "Jerry" Geraldine Buzzard

  Lavina (Jerry) Geraldine Buzzard, 89 years old, passed away peacefully at her home in Emmett, Idaho surrounded by her children and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 19, 2026. She was the 4th born child to Gilbert and Mary Francis Jeffries. She was born March 22, 1937 and was raised in Oklahoma. 
  On January 24, 1953 at the age of 15 she married the love of her life, Henry Dan Buzzard, a young native American Cherokee Indian she met in church. Together they had 5 children. Francis (Jim) Frisbee of Emmett, Idaho, Jeanetta Buzzard of Lawrence, Kansas, her son, Daniel (Toni) Buzzard of Emmett, Idaho, and Niki (David) Garcia of Emmett, Idaho. They have 11 grandchildren David, Antonio, Marcos, Terra, Ayala, Alejandro, Megan, Caleb, AlesCia, Lukas, Jessica and 26 great grandchildren. 
   Her family celebrates her life filled with love, devotion and treasured memories. Her greatest joy was going to church, camping, spending countless hours cooking and baking for her family.  She loved sewing, embroidering, crocheting and sharing her craft with everyone. She would spend hours working word puzzles and loved playing games with her sisters, Joann, Marriah, her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; daughter, Danny Marie, and she was the last of her 14 siblings.  
  Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the Potter Funeral Chapel of Emmett.  Viewing will be the night prior from 6:00-8:00 PM.  Interment will take place at the Emmett Cemetery following services.
