LEON KENNETH QUALLS

 Leon Qualls, 68, passed away at his residence in Emmett, ID on June 29th, 2021. Born to Olva Bishop and Dwain Qualls on September 22, 1952 in Oceanside, CA.

 Leon attended La Quinta High School, before enlisting in the military and serving in the Navy for 6 years. He married Veronica Jones in September of 1999 and was a loving father to his two daughters Megan and Brieanna. Leon enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his granddaughters. Some of the best memories of Leon include getting together for family dinners, going fishing and watching Boise State football games.

 Leon worked as a CNA and home health care provider for much of his life, before obtaining his CDL. He loved being a truck driver, traveling and meeting new people. Leon is best remembered by his hard work ethic, sense of humor and playful demeanor.

 Leon is survived by his children, Megan Jones and Brieanna Qualls; grandchildren, Layla, Kiera and Onah, as well as his brother, Dawes Qualls.

 Services will be held on July 29th 2021 at 11:00 at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett, ID with refreshments to follow at the American Legion Hall.  Burial with military honors will take place at 2:00 at the Idaho State Veteran’s Cemetery.
