Kiara was a wonderful, vibrant wife, mother and sister who streaked to heaven on January 14, 2025, to rest with our Lord and Savior.
Kiara was born on August 15, 1989, at St. Luke’s Boise, during the Perseid meteor showers, just like her little sister, Rae. As soon as she was born, she was ready to go; always wanting to keep up with her older sister, Daunielle. She resided in Boise her entire life. She attended Sacred Heart school and church. She graduated from Bishop Kelly High School and attended Idaho State University and Stevens-Henager College. She loved to create, to make life a better place for those she came in contact with. You knew when you met her that this was a woman who adamantly cared for you. While attending high school she met the love of her life, Devin Scott Douglas Link. Even at that young age you knew destiny was happening. They married on September 5, 2010, and went on to have two amazing children, Cassius and Cleo. She worked at Doral Academy until her passing. She loved working with the kids and staff there.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dolores and Aster, Sr.; her uncle, Aster Jr.; her grandparent-in-laws, Cecil and Lorraine; her cousin, Keisha; and others. Kiara is survived by her husband, Devin; children, Cassius and Cleo; mother, Christina Dailey; father, Kenneth (Tykisha) Dailey; sisters, Daunielle (Danny) and Lore’; her in-laws, Richard and Lynette Link and sister-in-law, Jennifer Link. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Anita Stokes and paternal uncles, John (Christine) Dailey, Michael (Linda) Dailey; her maternal uncles, Richard, Keith and Christopher (Ina) Williams; cousins, Janisa, Imani (Brian), Mackenzie, Amber, Nicole, Keith (Heidi), Christopher Jr. (Jil), Tre’, Grace (Garrett), Terrance (Alesia), Brandee, Daria and Dymond as well as several second cousins and devoted friends.
Her faith and compassion were her code. No matter who you were, Kiara believed you deserved to be treated with respect and dignity. She taught us to love the Lord and be thankful every day for His blessings and to be thankful every day you were blessed to be on this earth and to make sure you told your loved ones every day how much they meant to you. Her laughter was endless and contagious. She didn’t take herself too seriously.
A Celebration of Kiara's Life will be at 5:00 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Boise Friends Church (7751 West Goddard Rd. in Boise). If you plan to attend, the family invites you to wear blue, Kiara's favorite color.
~ We will love and miss you forever, my Wren (Kiara). Fly free! ~
