Kevin John Keller, known affectionately as "Kev" to his friends and family, passed away on May 7, 2023. Born on September 18, 1967, in Portland, Oregon, Kevin brought light and warmth to everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. A compassionate, loving, loyal, and supportive husband, father, and friend, Kevin's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of sharing in his life journey.
Kevin spent 30 dedicated years as a professional truck driver, showcasing his love for the open road and traveling. His adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors were also evident in his passion for fishing, which he often enjoyed with his family. Kevin resided in Caldwell, Idaho, but he held fond memories of Oregon City, where he had previously lived. Family was the cornerstone of Kevin's life, and his definition of family went far beyond blood relations. His wife, Pennie Jansik Keller, was his rock, and together they built a life full of love and happiness. Kevin's dedication to his family was evident in the strong bond he shared with his son, Charlie Owen, and daughter-in-law, Jacquelyn Owen.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Keller, mother, Marion Brensching, and step-mother, Lorene Keller. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will live on through his wife, Pennie, son Charlie, daughter-in-law Jacquelyn, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, along with his expansive extended family. As we remember Kevin, let us also celebrate his unwavering commitment to family, his love for liberty, and the many moments of joy he brought to those around him.
The celebration of life will be held on June 22nd, 2023 at 4pm. The service will be held at 8558 Linden Rd. Nampa, ID 83687. In lieu of flowers, there is a fund to help with expenses and support of his wife, Pennie. The link for the Go Fund Me is: https://gofund.me/a463eb91
We encourage all who knew and loved Kevin to leave memories and upload photos to his memorial page, as we come together to celebrate the remarkable life he led.
