Kaylyn (Kim) Cluff, 80, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Kim was born on October 15, 1944, in Logan, Utah, to Weldon and Wyone Seamons. She grew up in Idaho and graduated from Nampa High School in 1962. She then attended Ricks College, where she earned her nursing degree in 1964.
On February 12, 1965, Kim married the love of her life, Thomas Cluff, in the Idaho Falls Temple for time and all eternity. For their extended honeymoon, they spent the summer and fall in Cold Meadows, Idaho, where Tom worked as a packer and fire guard for the U.S. Forest Service.
Kim’s nursing career spanned 50 years, during which she worked in various specialties, including medical, critical care, and emergency medicine. She culminated her career as the clinical care coordinator at Saint Alphonsus in Boise. Among her many accomplishments, she was instrumental in establishing Idaho’s first coronary care unit.
A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kim served in many callings throughout her life, including Primary President, Stake Primary President, Young Women’s Leader, and Ministering Sister. She was a woman of great faith and service, always offering love and support to those around her.
Above all, Kim was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, service, and devotion to her family and faith.
