Kay Towne, 80, of Emmett, Idaho, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026.
Born on August 17, 1945, in Downey, California, Kay was the daughter of Dick and Helen Womack.
Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to caring for others, including both children and the elderly in the Emmett area. Known for her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help anyone in need, her impact on those around her will be long remembered.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Helen Lucas, and her brother, Richard Lucas.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Denise (Monte) Townsend, Dennis (Denise) Nygard, Connie Foley, and Rolanda (Charlie) Newell; her life partner, Vince Towne; her brother, David (Angie) Lucas; as well as her 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Kay’s life will be held this summer
