Judy Hart, age 81, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026, in Meridian, Idaho. She was born on June 4, 1944, in Ogden, Utah, to Frank Leroy. and Alethea T. Hart. Judy was a long-time resident of Layton, Utah, before moving to Emmett Idaho, to be closer to her family, due to illness.
Judy loved being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest desire was to have a close loving family. She adopted and raised her three children, Corey Sondrup (Amy Sondrup) of Park City, Utah, Staci Hartline (Edward Hartline) of Emmett, Idaho and Antonio Hart of Salt Lake City, Utah. She is also survived by her 9 cherished grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, for whom she made it her goal to ensure they were well loved and the best dressed.
Judy enjoyed shopping, traveling, and taking vacations. She had a deep love for her father (Franklin T. Hart) and found comfort in knowing she would one day be reunited with him.
Before retiring, Judy worked as the Chief Financial Officer for Superior Air Handling, a sheet metal manufacturing company, HVAC, that was founded by her dad, where she was respected for her dedication and hard work.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alethea T. Hart and Frank Leroy Hart; her brother, James F. Hart; and her sister, Sherran Taylor.
There will be a graveside service and dedication to celebrate her life, honor her memory, and say our final goodbyes, surrounded by those who loved her at the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Boulevard, on June 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
Arrangements are under the care of the Potter Funeral Chapel.
