Judy Jordan, 81, of Emmett ID passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on November 13, 2022. She was born July 12, 1941 in Caldwell to Willard E and Freda G Hunt. Her father was killed in action during World War II in January 1945. She grew up in Roswell, Kuna, and Caldwell Idaho as an only child, graduating from Caldwell High School.
Judy married Durrell Crays while in school and had 3 children. They later divorced. In 1965, Judy met and later married Dale E Jordan and had one more child. They later moved to McCall in the late 60's and then to Emmett in 1977.
Judy was co-owner of multiple businesses for many years, a long-time bookkeeper, considerate volunteer and member of Emmett Crime Prevention, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and Valor Health Auxiliary.
Judy was a huge sports lover and activist - attending all the kids little league games, school sports and even watching all TV sports! She was an avid bowler for 50 years and even ended up buying the bowling alley in Emmett creating Jordan's Cherry Bowl. Road trips for bowling tournaments were high on the priority list which included swimming and always playing cards.
Judy loved her Savior, family, friends and community. She was MOM to many!
Judy is survived by her little dog Hope; four children, Kim (Terry) Aman of Kent, WA, Darren (Debbie) Crays of Nampa, ID, Shannon (Stephanie) Crays of Emmett, ID and Don (Cheryl) Jordan of Emmett, ID. She has 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 1 new step great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, Willard; her mother, Freda; first husband, Durrell, and husband of 45 years, Dale.
Judy's life will be celebrated at 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett. Judy is to be laid to rest with Dale at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell, ID.
