In Loving Memory of Jolene Hamilton July 7, 1961 – August 4, 2026, heaven gained a crazy Angel by the name of Jolene Hamilton, age 65, who passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2026, surrounded by her animals.
Born on July 7, 1961, in Spokane, Washington, Jolene lived a life filled with love, laughter, compassion, and adventure. She was a devoted mother, a cherished grandmother, a loving daughter, and a friend to many. Jolene will be remembered for her generous heart and her willingness to always be there for the people she loved. She spent many years caring for others, bringing comfort and kindness wherever she went.
Her family was her greatest joy, and she loved her daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with all her heart. She had a special love for horses and animals and found happiness in the simple moments spent caring for them. Jolene was also always ready for an adventure. Whether it was trying something new, making memories with family, or simply enjoying the people and animals she loved, she embraced life with a spirit that will be deeply missed.
Jolene leaves behind her daughters, Alta Zundel, Jamie Ross, and Jodee Fornue; her beloved grandchildren, Richard (Maddie) Ross, Hunter (Jaylyn) Zundel, Sydnee (Elijah) Shull, Makayla Zundel, Lilyann Fornue, Ronnie Fornue, Pheobe Zundel, Kim Purcelland Sarah Moore; and her great grandchildren, Ronan Ross, Hudson Shull, Everett Zundel and Raelynn Zundel; brothers, Maurice (Cheryl) Piersol and JoDee (Brunelle) Piersol; and sister, Julie (Randy) Smith who will carry her love and memories with them always. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles James Piersol, and her mother, Judy Ann Peden.
Although Jolene’s journey on earth has come to an end, the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the memories she created will continue to live on through her family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. “A life filled with love is never truly gone. It lives on in every heart it touched and every memory it left behind.”
Family and friends are invited to gather together to celebrate Jolene’s life and share stories, laughter, and memories. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 28, 2026 5:00 PM MDT at The Dirty Shame Saloon & Restaurant Crouch, ID, 843 S. Middlefork Rd. Please join us as we celebrate not only the life we lost, but the beautiful life Jolene lived and the love she gave so freely.
