John Wayne Weekes

 John Wayne Weekes,  age 79, passed away Thursday, July 03, 2025. He was born June 21, 1946 in Rexburg, Idaho to Ross and Beth Weekes.  Wayne was the oldest of twelve children. He attended school at Mayfield, Mountain Home, and Emmett.  
 Wayne married the love of his life Janice Banta on December 06, 1967. They welcomed their daughter Dani into their life on November 26, 1971 then their son Ronnie on February 20, 1977.  They added to their family a son-in-law Tod and a daughter-in-law Angela along with another son Justin and his wife Tracey. They have eleven wonderful grandchildren Audree, Zane, Riley, Aiden, Emily, Brandon, Zane, Melina, Brett, Coby and Hannah. They also have one great grandson Kasen and one baby on the way.
 Outside of the love for his family Wayne loved driving his trucks, working with his cattle and being with his friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Beth; two sisters, Melody and Eva Lyn; brother, Blaine; sister-in-law, Karen; and brother-in-law, Rocky. He is survived by his wife, Janice; his children and their spouses and families; his sister; Elaine and brothers Norman, Owen, Carl, Lewis, Brian, Mark and Blake and their families.
 Funeral services will be held at Letha Church at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Viewing is from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM before funeral services. Internment will be at Bramwell Cemetery directly following the service. 
 Arrangements are in the care of the Potter Funeral Chapel.
