With heavy hearts we announce the passing of John Lee Spicer. John passed away February 2, 2025 at the age of 84 in Emmett, Idaho. He was born April 17, 1940 to John Earl Leroy Spicer and Ruby Dale Spicer in Pueblo, Colorado.
John had many hobbies such as music, fishing, hunting, and water skiing. He also held many different job positions such as Migrant Worker, working at the Cotton Gin, Corn Cannery, and Delmonte where he retired. John has recently joined his mother, Ruby Spicer; father, John Earl Leroy Spicer; his siblings, Ruben Dale Spicer, Samuel Lewis Gene Spicer, Earline Reed, and Tommy Paul Spicer in death.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine May Spicer; his children Melody Spicer-Jackson and her child Crystal, Lena Regina Spicer along with her children, Richard and Roland, and Sheila Spicer Meenan with her children Earl, Sarah, and Josh. He is also survived by his siblings, Harold Merle Spicer, Lonnie Ray Spicer, Ruby Mirine Spicer, and Diane Roth.

A celebration of life will be at 11:00am on February 15, 2025 at the New Life Celebration Church in Emmett, ID (1809 S Substation Rd).
