Joanne Louise Large

Joanne Louise Large, currently of Emmett, Idaho, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2023 with her family by her side.  Joanne was born November 22, 1936, in Yakima, WA to Dorwin Brinton and Kathleen Elizabeth Ann Cook.  
 She met and married Richard Large on November 6, 1954, in Seattle.  They had 3 children, Nancy, Michael and Betty Jo.  She held several jobs including bookkeeping for her husband's business.  
 They moved to Emmett in 2014 where they have felt very loved and welcomed by the community ever since.  
  She was preceded in death by both parents and 2 brothers.  She is survived by her husband of 69 1/2 years, Richard Large; her 3 children, Nancy Montgomery (James) of Meridian, ID, Michael Large (Karen) of Puyallup, WA, and Betty Jo Rankin (Chris) of Colton, WA and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  
 The family would like to thank the Gem County Senior and Community Center for making The Large's feel so welcome and Heart 'n Home Hospice (specifically Wendy) for the loving care they provided to Joanne during the last days of her life.
