Jerome (Jerry) Waters of Emmett, Idaho has gone to be with his Heavenly Father and missed loved ones. He passed April 3, 2025 at his home in Emmett.
Jerry was born June 29, 1952 in Ontario, Oregon. He was the first child of Jerome and Peggy Waters and was followed by his brother, Steve.
Jerry grew up in the Treasure Valley area. He lived in many places during his life. He was married 4 times but had no children. He took joy in watching his brother's kids as if they were his own. Jerry found a passion in cars and loved anything he could do that involved them. While living in Las Vegas he drove a racecar. He collected lots of Hot Wheel Cars so that he could see them all the time. Jerry was a very intelligent man and loved his crossword puzzles, reading everything he could get ahold of, and learning new facts. He was a writer and loved to write little stories, letters, memories, and anything he wanted to remember. One of his most memorable was going to Jerusalem and seeing the Holy Land.
He lost most of his close family before passing. He is survived by a niece and a nephew. Jerry leaves behind a chosen family that loved him dearly and helped him navigate the later years of his life and includes Elmyra, his right arm; Jennifer, his left arm; and Sandi, his legs. These were his "Angels". Also left behind are his "son", Jeremy; his "buddy", Jim; and his beloved dog, Ally.
Jerry will have a grave side service, to be held at a future date. He will be laid to rest with his parents in the Emmett Cemetery.
