Jeannie Chapman

  Jeannie Chapman, 79 years old, passed away on July 21, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 24, 1946, in Emmett, Idaho, to Francis and Juanita “Nugget” Goslin. She was the second of five children. 
  She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Clark Chapman; daughters, Marcie (Randall) Heathman, Teri Scott and Sheila (Troy) Pulley; sons, Steven (Louise) Martin, and Gregory (Pari) Chapman; grandchildren, Nick Feaster, Ryan & Rick Howard, Melissa Lewis, Monica Cross, Kaylee Burkhart, Joe Elsberry, Keri Pulley, Robert Burkenbine, Ryan Pulley & Kaitlyn Votroubek, Ashley, Dani, Alex & Connor Chapman; 19 great-grandchildren; siblings, Carol (Warren) Garringer & Charles (Val) Goslin, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.  
  Jeannie was an avid reader who always had a book at hand. She was also a beautiful artist, and most of her family members have at least one of her paintings on their walls. Jeannie loved to spend time in nature camping and fishing with family. Her children remember a childhood full of music, art, literature, and laughter. Clark and Jeannie traveled across the country for his work, creating beautiful memories that they both cherished. Clark devoted all of his time to taking care of his wife until her last breath.  
  Mom made all of us feel worthy, confident, smart, and very, very loved. She was kind and gentle and forgiving, and her beautiful smile and sense of humor filled our lives with so much joy. Mom's generous nature made all of our friends feel like they were family, and she even loved all of the stray animals that we brought home. 
  Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Francie Markland; brother, John Goslin; stepdaughter, Angie Chapman, and granddaughter, Kassi Pulley. 
  We would like to thank Chuck, Val, Danielle, Allie, and Vern from Grace Abounds Elder Care in Michigan for showing Mom so much love and devotion while she was in their care and for welcoming our family so that we could spend precious time with her. We would also like to thank Cyndi, Lisa, Casondra, Hailey, and Jazmine from Helping Hand Services for their exceptional care and compassion towards Mom and all of us when she came back home to Emmett. We can't say enough about the genuine care that Mom received from Jenn, Mary, and Carol at Horizon Hospice. Their comforting presence was immeasurable. We want to include how grateful we are to family members Kaylee and Theresa for being with all of us day and night during Mom's final days. 
  Services will be held on Friday, August 14, at 11:00 AM at Potter Funeral Chapel, 228 E. Main St. Emmett, Idaho.
