Jeanette Faye Curtis, 75, passed away at home on September 16, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Jeanette Faye Curtis was born on November 7, 1949, to parents Eugene and Grace Curtis. She suffered polio at age 17 months but despite this she learned to walk again and to enjoy a happy life with her family.
Everyone who ever spoke with Jeanette soon learned that she had the most positive outlook of any person they met.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 2003 and her faith in the promise of everlasting life in paradise on earth is what kept her so positive in her daily life no matter what struggles she endured. Surrounded by her family, she passed away on September 16, 2025, after a battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her father Eugene and her brother Lyle. She is survived by her mother Grace; sister Sharla; sister-in-law Glenda Curtis; two nephews, Travis (Janalee) and Lynn (Candice); great nephews, Dorian (Toine), Tradyn and Drysan; along with an uncle, aunts and many cousins.
There will be a Celebration of Life Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Emmett, Idaho.
