Jean Elinor Bolinger passed away from complications from pneumonia, July 9, 2026. Jean was born August 2, 1934 to Joseph and Edith Wiberg in Kellogg, Idaho.
Jean was an avid singer. She sang with many local groups and sang in many venues including Carnegie Hall. When not singing or working outside the home, she spent hours running her 5 kids to dance classes, sports events and other activities.
She loved to take drives in the car and explore the back roads just to see what she could see.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Beth.
She is survived by her spouse Dale Bolinger; children, Vernon (Stefanie) Bolinger, Ray (Tara) Bolinger, Ann (David) Hungerford, Stan (Christine) Bolinger, Ron Bolinger; sibling Lois Goforth; Grandchildren; Desirae (Jonny), Mallory (Ben), Dale (Marleis), Joseph, Lora (Cameron), Anders, RaeAnna, Jacquelyn, Kathryn, Vivian; and Great Grandchildren; Logan, Jesse, Samuel, Arus, Rayna, Allison, Brooklyn, Aira, Conner, Aivy.
Funeral Services will be on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM with a viewing starting at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 980 W Central Rd, Emmett, ID 83617. Burial will follow at the Emmett Cemetery.
