James "Greg" Gregory Walker

James Gregory Walker (Greg) 68 passed away October 10, 2022, in Cascade, Idaho due to a work-related accident. Greg was born March 11, 1954, to James Anderson Walker and Ora Nikirk Walker in Yerington, Nevada. Greg married Pam Bowers in 1992. They had two children together, Brandon and Megan. Greg and Pam’s union ended in divorce and Greg was remarried to Kathie Peterson in 1993. Greg started in the construction industry, eventually becoming an excellent finish carpenter and a contractor. Later he started Walker Homes, as a custom home building contractor. In 2016 he retired from the business. He and Kathie did some traveling and eventually settled in Cascade. Even though Kathie and Greg’s union ended in divorce, their close relationship continued until his death. Greg was preceded in death by both of his parents, his sister Cindy, brother Brad, and stepdad Dan Ellis. Greg is survived by his 2 children, Brandon Walker, Megan Walker (Hal), his brother Rod Walker (Karrie), his 2 granddaughters Abigail and Brook Walker and Kathie Walker. Graveside services will be held November 10,2022 at 11 am at the Emmett Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the care of the Potter Funeral Chapel.
