Jack Kilgore

 Jack Kilgore was born March 4, 1945.  He went to be with the Lord July 20, 2021. 

 Jack was born and raised in the Willamette Valley and moved first to Montour and then Emmett to teach Junior High math.  He later managed Johannesen Motors until his retirement.  During his retirement he drove school bus and had a great love for his special needs kids. 

 Jack attended the Emmett Nazarene Church for 50 years.  He found great joy in helping others through the "Helping Hands" ministry.  He and Peggy traveled many miles from Arizona to Alaska volunteering for "Sowers" and refurbishing Christian camps.  As a camp host at Red Fish Lake for several summers, Jack went above and beyond his call of duty by teasing every camper and giving many lessons on backing up boat trailers.

 Jack was a hard worker and played even harder.  When he wasn't at work he was working on a motor or planning his next adventure.  He had an intense connection to nature and loved camping and hunting with his friends and family.

 Many more stories will be told by his loving family at his Celebration of Life Service held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021, at the Emmett Nazarene Church.  Under the direction of the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett.
