JAMES "DEE" TURNER

James Dee Turner passed away in Meridian, Idaho on September 2, 2021.  Dee was born September 14, 1944 to James M. Turner and Virginia L Turner in Alameda California. 

 Dee grew up in Pleasant Hill California and attended Pleasant Hill High School.  He attended college at CSU, Chico as a competitive long-distance swimmer and completed his B.S. at CSU Stanislaus. He received his M.S. from UC Davis in Economics.

 Dee was preceded in death by his wife, Pricilla Turner; father, James Turner and mother, Virginia Turner. He is survived by his son, James Robert Turner, daughter Mary Ann Turner and their mother Barbara Turner; grandson Robert John Turner and a sister, Sue St. Louis-Dean who passed away as well on the 23rd of September.

 Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on October 9, 2021, at the Emmett Cemetery.

 Charitable contributions can be offered in Dee’s name to the Shriners Children's Hospital or The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation.
