Garris Brown

  Danny Garris Brown, 79, passed away on October 12, 2025, in his home, in Emmett, Idaho, surrounded by his family.
  Garris was born November 26, 1945 to Kenneth and Ivena Brown in Wendell, Idaho.
At age 12, Garris and his family moved to Emmett where he graduated from Emmett High and then from LDSBC in Salt Lake City, Utah.
  Garris married his high school sweetheart, Eldene Atkinson, April 16, 1964 and is survived by her and their three children, Kristina Farrar, Karen Brinkerhoff and Jeff Brown along with 13 grandchildren and 7 1/2 great grandchildren.
  Garris loved his family, and they brought him a lot of joy! He also loved camping, gardening, and serving in his church and community.
  On Saturday, October 25, 2025, there will be a viewing at 10:00 AM with a funeral at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1001 E. 2nd St., Emmett, ID.  Burial will follow at the Bramwell Cemetery.
