Eva Lyn Carpenter

  Eva Lyn Carpenter, 73, of Letha, Idaho passed away November 17, 2024.  She was born July 21, 1951 to Ross and Beulah "Beth" Weekes in Rexburg, Idaho.  
  Eva grew up in Mayfield, Idaho.  The family moved to Emmett when Eva was about 12. She went on to graduate from Emmett High School. After graduation Eva started working with her dad, Ross, at the Livestock Sales Yard, where she met her husband, Rocky Carpenter.  They moved and lived in Boise until Rocky passed away, after which, Eva moved back to Letha. 
  Eva loved working with people and animals.  She had a great talent for finding lost ancestors and she loved to share who and what she found.  
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Rocky Carpenter; sister, Melody; brother, Blaine and her parents, Ross and Beth Weekes.  She had 38 nieces and nephews.  
  There will be a viewing on Friday Nov 22, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Potter Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Letha, Idaho.
