Eva Mae Spurlock Bloom 81 of Horseshoe Bend, left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday July 19, 2020, surrounded by her family. Eva was born on April 21, 1939 at Ketchum, Oklahoma to Clyde P. Spurlock and Ruby Howell Slaughter. She was the oldest of three children. Eva grew up in Wilder, Idaho. She moved “HOME” (Horseshoe Bend) in 2018 until she passed. Over the years Eva’s passion became children. She was known to many as “Grandma Eva”. As she opened a daycare in Horseshoe Bend. After retiring she continued to help raise her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many others. She was preceded in death by her husband Duane G. Bloom, her parents, and a brother Raymond Spurlock. Eva is survived by her daughters Lisa Lindstrom (Lindy), Linda McMillan (Troy), sons Ricky, Terry Johnson, and Timothy Fight; sister Martha Polite (Larry), ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Thursday July 23, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Pioneer Cemetery in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho. A viewing will be held on Wednesday July 22 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett. Memorials may be made to Caryn Renfro’s Recovery in care of the Potter Funeral Chapel P.O.
