Estella Marie Funkhouser was born on June 12, 1945, in Sacramento California and grew up on Jesse Avenue. She then moved to Amador County where she finished her schooling at Amador County High. She married William Funkhouser on April 11, 1964. They had three daughters Sharrie, Carolyn and Mashelle (Shelly).
When they retired, they traveled all over the United States and landed in Idaho where their daughters reside.
She loved bowling, camping, thrift store shopping and driving to highway 88 pass to see the Fall colors.
She loved serving God and helping people.
She loved all of her family. She is survived by her brother Gary, her sisters-in-law Sharon and Judy, her children Sharrie and Dennis Thayer and Shelly Delaney and Stuart Edde and her grandchildren Johnny, Jeffrey, Wendy, Jessica, Laura and 11 great grandchildren.
She was so spontaneous that at the drop of a hat, she would say "let's go for a drive or let's go fishing".
She is sorely missed!
Celebration of life will be held at Potter Chapel in Emmett Idaho on Saturday October 23rd at 1 p.m.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayer, support and help during this difficult time.
Monetary contributions can be offered to the family via Venmo @ SharrieT1965
